Kori’s fullest Kenya circuit, and the only one of its trips that spends a day in Nairobi itself, taking in Nairobi National Park and the National Museum before heading out. Ol Pejeta is the stop that does not appear on any of the operator’s shorter trips: 90,000 acres near Mount Kenya holding lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and cheetah, and known for its northern white rhino. Lake Nakuru gets a full day of its own for the black and white rhino, and Lake Naivasha another for the boat, the birdlife and a guided walk on Crescent Island. Amboseli then gets two days including an afternoon with Maasai communities, and the Masai Mara three, with a picnic lunch out in the reserve and different routes morning and afternoon. Named accommodation is given at most stops. No price is published.

Day 1
Arrival in Nairobi
Met at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and briefed on the trip ahead, then the transfer to your hotel, with Nairobi Serena or Hotel Emerald named as options.

Nairobi city day
A day in the city taking in Nairobi National Park and the National Museum for Kenya's history and peoples, with lunch in town and the tour continuing into the afternoon.

Day 3
Tsavo East and Tsavo West
On to the Tsavo ecosystem, split by the Mombasa road and named for the river that runs west to east through it. Game drives in Tsavo East in the morning and Tsavo West in the afternoon.

Day 4
Ol Pejeta Conservancy
A drive north to Ol Pejeta near Mount Kenya, 90,000 acres of conservancy holding lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, cheetah, hyena and zebra, and known for its northern white rhino.

Day 5
To Lake Nakuru National Park
The drive to Lake Nakuru, a UNESCO World Heritage site in the Rift Valley, stopping at Thomson's Falls and a Rift Valley viewpoint, with a guided nature walk on arrival. Overnight at Sarova Lion Hill.

Day 6
Full day at Lake Nakuru
Morning and afternoon game drives for black and white rhino, buffalo, lion, baboon and warthog, with a picnic lunch.

Day 7
Full day at Lake Naivasha
A day at the lake at the highest point of the Rift Valley, best seen by boat, with a bird list of over 400 species, giraffe and buffalo along the shore, lunch on the water and a guided walk on Crescent Island. Overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.

Day 8
On to Amboseli
The drive to Amboseli in Kajiado County, established in 1914 and covering some 392 square kilometres. A game drive on arrival with Kilimanjaro in view. Overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge inside the park.

Day 9
Amboseli game drive and the Maasai
A morning game drive to find the predators before they hunt, plus the park's birdlife. After lunch, a visit to Maasai communities to see how they live, with dancing.

Day 10
To the Masai Mara
The transfer to the Masai Mara in Narok, one of Kenya's largest reserves at over 1,510 square kilometres. A game drive on arrival for cheetah, zebra, leopard, lion, wildebeest, giraffe, hippo and elephant, with the migration if the season is right. Overnight at Mara Leisure Camp.

Full day in the reserve
A morning game drive with the guide covering the wildlife and birdlife, a picnic lunch out in the reserve, and an afternoon drive on a different route.

Last drive and return
A final game drive after breakfast, then the drive back to Nairobi for lunch and the connection to the airport.
