From day five the itinerary flies to Kigali and continues in Volcanoes National Park, so the second half of the trip takes place outside Kenya and is described here only for context. Masai Mara
Fly into the Mara for three days of private 4x4 big-cat game drives, with sundowners over the savannah.

Nairobi to Kigali
A short flight to Rwanda's capital, then the drive into the foothills of the Virunga volcanoes.

Gorilla trekking (Rwanda)
Trekking through bamboo forest for an hour with a mountain gorilla family. This leg is outside Kenya.

Golden monkey tracking in the morning, then a cultural village and the Dian Fossey exhibition. This leg is outside Kenya.
