This is the only Kenya itinerary Oree Safaris publishes on its own. It is a straightforward two-night trip to the Masai Mara by road from Nairobi, about five hours each way, with a full day of game viewing in between.
The operator builds it around two things: the big cats, and the wildebeest crossings on the Mara River, for which it points travellers at the June-to-October window. Lodging is quoted as a choice between Mara Serena, Governor’s Camp, Kilima Camp and Kichwa Tembo. A balloon flight on the final morning, with a certificate, champagne and breakfast in the bush, is offered as a paid extra.

Day 1
Nairobi to the Masai Mara
Met by the guide after breakfast at your Nairobi hotel and briefed, then driven to the reserve via the Rift Valley, roughly five hours. Arrive for lunch, then an evening game drive. The operator puts the reserve at 95 mammal species and over 400 birds, and flags leopard, cheetah, lion and hyena alongside the plains game.

Day 2
Full day game drive in the Masai Mara
An early breakfast and a full day out looking for the Big Five. In season the day is worked around the wildebeest crossing the Mara River or moving across the plains in numbers. Zebra, Masai giraffe, gazelle, eland and a long list of savannah birds are named too. Back to camp in game-drive style for the night.

Day 3
Return to Nairobi
A balloon flight over the Mara plains is offered before departure at extra cost, with a flight certificate, a glass of champagne and breakfast in the bush. Afterwards, check out and transfer back to Nairobi for the departure flight.
